Michael E. Montejo, MD

Dr. Montejo completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, earning a B.S. in microbiology and graduating cum laude. Thereafter, he completed medical school at the University of South Florida, graduating 6th in his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He went on to complete an internship in internal medicine in Orlando, FL and then his radiation oncology residency at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah. He served as chief resident and published on aspects of gynecologic and head-neck oncology in peer-reviewed journals. He has received training in modern radiotherapy techniques including high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and both intracranial and body stereotactic radiotherapy.

He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Montejo is board eligible in radiation oncology.
