Neenad Shah, MD |
Dr. Shah was raised in rural northeastern Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate
degree from the Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from Jefferson
Medical College in Philadelphia.
Prior to training in radiation oncology, Dr. Shah completed a three-year residency
in internal medicine, in which he is board certified.
Dr. Shah completed a second residency in radiation oncology at Tufts University
School of Medicine in Boston. In addition to serving as chief resident, Dr.
Shah has pursued several areas of research, including total body irradiation
and partial
breast irradiation for breast cancer utilizing the innovative Mammosite™ treatment
technique. He has presented his research at several national meetings and has
articles pending publication in both Cancer and Seminars in Radiation
Oncology.
Dr. Shah joined Florida Oncology Network at their Sebring, Florida, location
in July, 2004.
